Prayer Triptych

B. K. Hoskin’s “Prayer Triptych” was created for the Spring 2026
Calgary Anglican Cursillo Co-ed Weekend, commissioned by the weekend’s Directors. It was created to illustrate the following Bible passage: “All those gathered here will know that it is not by sword or spear that the Lord saves; for the battle is the Lord’s, and he will give all of you into our hands.” (1 Samuel 17:47)

The images were applied to official name tags, binder covers and a theme banner displayed in the conference room during the weekend. All these were also designed by the artist.

The final paintings were each 16”x20” acrylic on hardboard and are available for purchase. High quality handmade cards or limited edition prints of any or all of the “Prayer Triptych” paintings are also available upon request. Contact Bethany.
