The 2026 Angola Mural Projects
-
One mural painted is for the auditorium at the CEML Hospital in Lubango, Angola. We painted a triptych (one panel cut in three) to be left on-site and installed at a later date. Subjects: “The Pool of Bethesda”, Jesus healing a sick man, a healing pathway.
-
Another mural we painted is for the new Children’s Wing at the CEML Hospital in Lubango, Angola. We painted two panels for their new nursery & three for their children’s wing. Subject: “Children of God”, illustrated Bible stories of Jesus, Moses, Tabitha, Samuel and Josiah.
-
The third mural we painted is for the CFB Livingstone School on location in the Mitcha missionary compound in Lubango, Angola. We painted two panels depicting a square illustration of the “Natural Wonders of Angola” for this elementary school.

About
Bethany’s husband Michael has been on repeat short-term missions to Angola since 2011. He has mainly taught ESL but also assisted in the library at the ISTEL Seminary in Lubango. Bethany joined the mission in 2024 when they restored “The Red Thread” mural at the CEML Hospital there (in addition to other activities). They were pleased to return in 2026 to paint not one, not two, but THREE brand new murals in addition to other activities! More information coming soon here and on our social media.
